Deb Venman is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College . She has played several roles in the Middlebury community. She was instrumental in the establishment of a consignment shop to benefit the local hospital; was Executive Directpr for the Addison County United Way ; served as a member of the elementary school board and as Chairperson of Port Medical Center's Board of Directors. She became an attorney the hard way by reading the law at the local law firm of Neuse & Smith (now Neuse, Smith & Venman) while auditing classes at Vermont Law School.

Mary E. McLaughlin is a veteran of the cable and telecommunications industry. She began her career in 1994 with Continental Cablevision's New England Region, serving in a variety of legal and government relations roles, including that of General Counsel and Regional Director of Government Relations.
In 2000, Mary became the Vice President of Acquired Business Integration for AT&T
Broadband/New England. In this capacity Mary was responsible for the successful business integration of two major acquisitions/mergers that encompassed the total addition of 600,000 customers, 1600 employees and $307 million in revenue to the region. As merger and acquisition activity stalled, Mary changed her focus and, in January 2002, she took on the position as Vice President Public Affairs and Communications for AT&T Broadband/New England.
Mary joined Adelphia in June, 2003 and currently serves as Area Vice President for VT/NH/ENY. In this role, Mary is responsible for business operations serving more than 265,000 customers and accounting for more than $200M in annual revenues.
Immediately prior to her current role, Mary served as Regional Vice President of Law and Public Policy for the Adelphia's Northeast Region. As RVP of Law and Public Policy, Mary was a critical force in negotiating a major settlement with the State of Vermont which ended years of litigation and marked the end of highly contentious relationships between Adelphia and its Vermont regulators.

As Corporate Vice President of Allied Signal, Pieter created and directed the task force that led the highly successful post-merger integration of Allied Corp. and Bendix Corp.

Mr. Riggs is the Managing Member of Balfour, LLC a firm specializing in early-stage entrepreneurial activities in healthcare and bio-technology. He served as President and Director of Biomatrix Corporation until it was sold to Genzyme Corporation in December, 2000. Biomatrix's lead product, Synvisc, is currently the third largest product for the treatment of osteoarthritis sold in the US . Prior to joining Biomatrix Mr. Riggs was a Director, President and CEO of the RF&P Corporation from 1991 to 1995. RF&P was sold in 1995 to the real estate arm of Lazard Freres. Prior to that Mr. Riggs was a Managing Director in Mergers and Acquisitions at Paine Webber and an associate with Strategic Planning Associates, the predecessor company to Mercer Management Consulting. He has been involved in the start-up of many companies
including: Sugen Inc., Selectide Inc., FibroGen Inc. and Royalty Pharma, Cibus Genetics, LLC and ChondroGene Ltd.
