Professor Claudon, everytime I visit this site, I am impressed by the information that is posted. Most importantly, I am pleased to see the number and diversity of participants. This is becoming a great storehouse for contacts and relationships. I hope that people are visiting regularly and taking advantage of the wealth of talent involved. Please share this site with others and keep stiring the pot. One of the strongest Middlebury affinity groups I have seen is the Midd Alumni Lacrosse group. Their connectivity comes from a simple listserve. I monitor their posts and note that they are conducting more business from a connection, networking and job-posting perspective than any other group at the College. They have a fraction of the technology available to the DB site. I hope people will continue to catalyze this site with action and connections. Professor, is there a way to proactively bring people to the site via opt out notifications on their email ie "Kelly Kerner just posted a new blog...click here to read his post?"

Email Notification Suggestion
Thank you for the warm remarks, Kelly.
Members of individual groups, like the Jobs Group, receive notification emails whenever there is a new post to that group. My suggestion is that BRIDGES members join groups in which they have interest so that they also receive email alerts.
However, Kelly has unwittingly helped us discover that the email alert functionality currently does not exist for the General Discussion Group. We will remedy this situation ASAP.
We are continually working with EchoDitto, adding functionality of all sorts to BRIDGES. The highest priority right now is completing the Venture Coaches Group. Shorlty a roster of volunteer venture coaches, arrayed by skills and experience, will be available to all BRIDGES members seeking help growing and developing their enterprises, independent of their maturity or whether they are for profit or non profit. The roster now numbers close to 50 highly experienced and successful individuals, and it grows daily.
Stand by... and please keep the suggestions coming. We need to know what you want, what make BRIDGES more valuable to you.
...Michael
