In February 2000, Ted skied down the slopes of the Middlebury College Snow Bowl in cap and gown, graduating with honors as International Politics and Economics major with minors in French and US History.His interest in the business world began with his lemonade stand and flourished with the launching of middkid.com.

Outside the academic realm, where he preferred to be found at Middlebury, Ted rowed for the Crew Team, wrote for the campus newspaper, participated in the student government and was a member of Kappa Delta Rho.

A 1995 graduate of Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT, Ted loves powder days at Mad River Glen and summers on Lake George in the Adirondacks.
