Consumer Goods Director at Rodale, Inc.
Since graduating from Middlebury College in 1984, Mason Wells has been involved in the world of media and publishing for over two decades. After ten years at Times Mirror magazines in sales and management positions at Skiing magazine and GOLF Magazine Properties, he moved on to pioneer online sales for the largest golf website in the country (now owned by CBS Sportsline.com). He spent several years responsible for nationwide ad sales and website sales at both Snow Country magazine and U.S. News & World Report. In late 1999, Wells became the NY Advertising Director for the re-launch of MIT's Technology Review, a 100-year old magazine, growing its website by 500% over a two year period.
Since 2004, Wells has worked as Consumer Goods Director at Rodale, Inc. on BestLife magazine and website category specialties such as automotive, consumer electronics/IT and financial services. Rodale publishes Men's Health, Prevention, Organic Style, Runner's World, Bicycling, Backpacker and many books, including NYT bestseller last year "The South Beach Diet".
Wells enjoys coaching kid's sports, Christian education, golf, hockey, traveling to mountains and beaches. He and his wife Kathryn have two children, son, George (9) and daughter, Elizabeth (6).
