Director of Budget, Planning & Assessment, Library & Information Services

Carol Peddie has 17 years of technology experience in the higher education market. After joining Middlebury College's IT group in 1996, she quickly merged into a position which dealt with desktop operations and technology acquisitions. 1996 - 2000 were growing years for technology within the college and the number of computers grew from about 400 to over 1700. During this time it was apparent that disposal and storage were quickly becoming issues and Carol founded a computer donation program in 1998.

Carol is currently the Director of Budgets, Planning & Assessment for Library & Information Services where her primary focus is on financial & technological planning. In addition she still oversees technology acquisitions and administers the computer donation program.

Prior to joining Middlebury, Carol worked in the areas of application & software programming, and various areas of PC support at Dickinson College & Seton Hall University.

Carol has a BA in Business & Economics, Computer Information Systems from Wilson College.
