After speaking with Aaron Abend this weekend at the Middlebury Alumni Assoc Board Mtg, I thought I'd post a (somewhat self promoting) update about what's going on at Union Street Media (www.unionstreetmedia.com). We have some exciting news worth sharing!

As some of you know, we are a 15+ person web development company in Burlington VT that develops web sites for a number of industries. About half of work is custom web applications for REALTORs - integrating our innovative real estate software with visually engaging site designs. Our REALTOR clients are market leaders who have willingness to invest in the web that differentiates them from their peers. We help them targeting the 78% of buyers who start their home searches online (according to the '04 NAR Technology Survey).

Until recently, we serviced clients in three MLS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiple_Listing_Service) market areas:

We are now building web sites in two new MLSes, both of which are in the top 10 largest MLSes in the country: MLS PIN, which covers most of Massachusetts, and the MLS of Northern Illinois, which covers greater Chicagoland (as my Grandfather used to like to call it). We have sites underway in both of those markets that will come online later this spring, and are actively looking for more clients in those markets.
