Hello Digital Bridges Community!

I'm posting to ask for your help. Hart-Boillot does PR, advertising and design/branding for business-to-business technology and biotechnology firms. We help companies that have had trouble getting media attention, that are held back by lackluster image, and that have challenges communicating complex messages to their audiences.

Over the last 8 years we have been on a slow-but-steady "build a great business" growth track. We have never borrowed money, and have been profitable every year except 2002. In 2006, we had a banner year, in part because we systematized many of the processes that we developed over the previous seven years, and in part because we learned how to sell. In the first six months of 2007, we achieved 85% of 2006 sales, with excellent client retention and satisfaction, excellent employee satisfaction and high profitability.

We are now looking to rise to the next level, and this posting is part of that effort. Our ideal client is a small-to-medium company working with complex products/services, for whom we can be PR or Creative agency-of-record (or both). The other ideal client is a very large company that has a massive, international agency of record, but has many departments that are underserved by that agency. Large agencies are poised to do fantastic work on a national or global scale, but we notice that they have trouble providing value on jobs under $250,000. This is the role we fill in several large organizations, including EMC, without threatening the large agency or those using it (we don't want that business). In fact, one large agency is working on partnering with us to ensure that its client relationships are not threatened by their high prices for smaller jobs. With us, they will have an invisible partner and avoid smaller competitive agencies worming their way into the client's good graces. We are happy to handle such jobs and stay in the background. So, to recap, the ideal client is a medium technology or biotech company with complex messages, a department in a large company, or an agency that needs a nimble partner.

Here's my question. We currently have a "Top Targets" list of companies that might benefit from our sevices. Because we have no satellite offices, these targets are all in New England. My question is:
- Are there other companies located in New England that you would recommend adding to this list?
- Do you know anyone at one or more of these companies, and would you feel comfortable making a personal introduction?

I would appreciate any help. Here are the companies with which we think there might be a good fit. These include some agencies, as we now believe we can help them out in a unique way:
